BTS with Jones

Capturing the beauty of storytelling, our Autumn Winter campaign takes you effortlessly through each occasion with an air of opulence and glamour. With rich tones, simple, clean lines and luxurious leathers, this collection is presented against equally beautiful settings. We have spun the lens on our photoshoot, to show you what happens behind the scenes on a Jones Bootmaker campaign.

One of our favourite times in the calendar, our Jones shoots take us to some of the most beautiful properties in the country. To launch our latest Autumn Winter collection, the team headed to the majestic Belvoir Castle in Grantham.

Renovated in 1801, the beautiful gothic Revival Grade I listed castle is set in 15,000 acres of the beautiful Belvoir estate. Embodying both classic style and contemporary charm, the stunning property has been lovingly decorated with a touch of glamorous opulence.

"My favourite part of a campaign is when you finally see all the weeks of moodboarding, conceptualising ideas and going back and forth with the team on styling, makeup and models, all come together. To stand in the location and see the vision playing out is where the most inspiring moments are. When you have all the right elements fall into place capturing it on camera is almost the easiest bit. "We spend a lot of time planning initially with the buyers to understand what stock will be selected for the campaigns. Once the selections are made and we understand more about the range, we look into the best theme of where we could shoot the styles. The Creative team spend a lot of time researching locations to decide where would be suitable to deliver the campaign, along side this we look into models for the shoot. Currently we look at two female and one male model for each campaign shoot. Once we have both the location and models selected, we take the range and plan to our stylist who then looks into the best styling options for the range. This is reviewed with the buyers and choices are made at that stage ready to take to the photography shoot. Once all of the planned work has been approved the members of the Creative team, stylist, hair and make-up team and models meet on the planned location and off we go to produce our new photography and video content for the season."
